Hello,
My name is Muriel Davison and I am your son/daughter's french teacher. I have been teaching for 23 years and I love what I do. I enjoy working with students and teaching them the most romantic language in the world ( of course that is my opinion and nothing else !) Oh and did I mention that I am French ? I have lived in Atlanta for 23 years, but I moved here, with my entire family, from Paris,France.
Before teaching at Collins Hill, I taught for 13 years in Dekalb county, as well as coached swimming for 11 years. Since then, I have come to Collins Hill and have been here for 11 years. I do not coach here, but I am the sponsor of the French Honor Society as well as a Senior Sponsor.
I am the mother of 2 children, ages 23 and 20. I am married to a wonderful man who is American and does not speak any french ! ( I have tried to teach him, but gave up after many tries !!) Don't worry I won't give up on your children! Although my husband does not speak French, I have my family here, who does, as well as many friends with whom I converse in French all of the time.
I have a master's degree in use of technology in the classroom, as well as my specialist degree in administration.
I look forward to teaching your sons and daughters and I am sure that we will all have a wonderful and fun year. I also look forward to meeting you.
